Colours in the different weekdays
Department of Cardiology, Gentofte Hospital
A big decoration was painted in 2010 in relation to opening of a new section of the Department of Cardiology ( heart diseases ) at Gentofte Hospital, Copenhagen.
The seven pictures illustrates the suggestions of motives and colours of the single days from monday to sunday.
The upper parts of the pictures is my own suggestions, where the lines has inspiration from the lines, which can be seen in cracked flagstones on the streets.
The 42 small suggestions seen at the buttom are the suggestions from 42 of the nurses and other coworkers in the department.
These fellows got a card 10x10 cm with name of the week day, they should characterize, and did not have any knowledge of my motives or colours. It is interesting, that the only day, where you might find a coincidence, was monday with several blue colours.
